Digital audio files

Most people now use audio files to send their recordings to us. This has a number of benefits over traditional tapes including speed of sending and quality of the audio. We can transcribe from many types of audio file – please fill in our quote request form and let us know what file type you are using, and we’ll let you know if we can work with it. The chances are we can. For a list of files we can definitely work from, click here.

Digital video files

YouTube

We can transcribe from YouTube videos. There is no extra charge for basic transcription from YouTube. Please fill in our quote request form if you would like a quote, or email us your requirements.

DVDs

We can transcribe from DVDs. However, if these are protected (commercial DVDs) this may not be possible.

VHS Video

At the present time we are unable to transcribe from VHS video, but there are a number of companies who can turn your VHS video into a DVD or digital video file an we can work with those.

Audio tapes

We no longer provide a service transcribing from audio tapes – standard cassette, mini cassette or micro cassette. IB Transcription Services will work with audio cassettes, so please contact Irene Boston on +44 (0)1485 543746 or email her for more information.
